Texan at heart yet bolted firmly to New York City since landing at LGA with only four suitcases in 2001, Alice found her calling as an artistry educator, pro community advocate, and emotional support human, after trying on many hats.

At work, just as in life, Alice leads from a place of compassion and whole heartedness. Her friend Halli famously describes her as Human Xanex. Finding the joy in everyday life, and sharing it, is her hobby. A client making videos for a focus group study about uniting people with different perspectives once stopped at her makeup and hair station to say,”I don’t know how you are getting these men to let you do their makeup, we should study you too.”

Young in spirit, but wise due to time, Alice first picked up makeup while still a student at university. After working as a professional makeup artist for a few years in the aughts, Alice discovered that she also had an affinity for hair, so she added light hair styling to her list of many skills, as artists do. (Alice also had her hands in wardrobe styling, props, production design, video, photo, and producing through the years— but don’t ask her about that, she likes to stay focused on beauty these days. wink, wink.)

With two decades of New York fashion and beauty industry experience under her belt, Alice moves with an effortlessness that only someone who one hundred percent knows who they are can bring to the table.
